Community Services and Activities

community services at the dog inn belthorn

When the community came together to save The Dog Inn at Belthorn, it wasn’t just about keeping the pub open—it was about creating a vibrant community hub for everyone to enjoy.

Before we took ownership, we asked residents what kinds of events, activities, and services they would like to see at The Dog Inn. The list was extensive, and we’ve been steadily working through it to create a space that serves the whole community.

Here’s what’s currently available—and what’s still in the pipeline.

Future Plans

Some projects are still in development, but we’re committed to exploring them:

  • Hairdressers
Looking into the possibility of bringing a local hair service to The Dog Inn.
  • New Community Activity Groups
If you have an idea for a group or want to lead one, we’d love to hear from you.
  • MP Surgeries & Health Drop-In Sessions
We’re aiming to offer space for local representatives and healthcare professionals to meet with residents.
